QProg version 2.2.0 contains a range of new functions and wizards which make the software more user-friendly, intuitive, and helps to avoid mistakes:
New Device Manager
Supports the interface programming of typical cash register periphery. It will automatically check the plausibility and avoid double activation of the same interface with different devices. You do not need to know any code or type numbers anymore. The device manager offers clear lists with all necessary information.
New Interface Settings Menu
Comes up automatically before any communication and collects all information at one point. You can simply select between serial or network communication, enter the necessary port or address numbers and manage network cash registers. The ComPort selection now will only show those ports which really are usable at your PC. It offers a great support for the data transmission.

New Graphic Logo Programming Routine
Now it is possible to automatically resize and monochrome the logo in QProg. There are two different converting methods to generate a monochrome logo (by threshold selection and dithering method). The size now can automatically adjusted to the connected printer model. You do not need to know any pixel numbers anymore. In addition, the well-known JPEG image format is now supported.
