In todays economy leasing a cash register or POS system becomes an attractive proposition to start-up businesses, which don’t want to spend a great deal on equipment prior to their opening. Even established businsses may wish to upgrade their POS infrastructure without the hassle of extensive up front investments. QUORiON dealers now have the option to lease-out POS systems and take advantage of a new revenue model.
LEASING EXPIRATION PERIOD
- The LEASE CODE is stored in the customer application program, so once it has been entered, the application can only be used until a specific date on that specific cash register/POS system.
- When the Lease period expires, the POS system will be blocked and will prompt for a new lease code with Error Message# 75.
- When there is less than 7 days left on the POS system lease, it will print the Lease End Date at the end of every report taken.
- The system uses Error Message# 75 and General Text# 107 for Leasing Protection.
